This Merlot is a graceful medium-bodied wine with a velvety mouth feel. This wine is a smooth and easy drinker fit with a diverse range of flavors. Jammy red fruits such as dried black cherry and currants. Hints of milk chocolate and vanilla with some pepper and smoky characteristics provided for by the medium toasted oak barrels.
Food Pairings: Pair this with smoked brisket slider topped with pickled carrots. Beef tenderloin filet with a mustard or Bernaise sauce. Pair with garlic and herb infused cheeses, Gouda, Gorgonzola, Brie, and Parmesan.
