Subtle dark fruits, blackberry, dark cherry, black olive, and slight roasted green jalapeno flavors with a dry finish. Dried chili pepper, black licorice, herbaceous mint, and floral bouquet. Fine tannins.
Full-bodied wine with medium level of acidity. Beautiful dark garnet color with ruby red undertones.
Food Pairings: Great with earthy dishes using olives, feta, and lemon. Try with roasted rosemary, mint, and oregano encrusted lamb served with lemon zested green olives. Pairs well with roasted pork, beef stews, meatballs in tomato sauce, and roasted vegetables (especially roasted peppers).
